Free funeral wishes in November

November is Will Aid month where you can update or create your will with certain solicitors at a reduced cost and the money is given to selected charities. I am offering a free funeral wishes service during this month, by phone, skype or in person. It can be such a relief to get this area sorted and have a clear set of instructions and wishes left for friends and family. At a time of loss it can be so stressful and lead to disagreements when it is unclear what the deceased would have wished for. In session I ask you a number of questions and you see what you would like. Some people need more time to reflect and add additional wishes later. I create the final document which is sent to you and you can make available to the people concerned.

Final Fling

Final Fling is a great website for covering everything you ever wanted to know about living and dying well, getting a living will done, lots of resources for designing funerals and coming to terms with illness, death and loss.

Fair-Trade Coffins

Often people say to me when doing their Advance Funeral Wishes that they would prefer to have a sustainably sourced and eco-friendly casket for their funeral. Up to now choices have been fairly limited. However recently fair-trade coffins made by Traidcraft are now available from Co-operative Funeralcare, as part of its ethical strategy and the demand for eco funerals. More and more people are also interested in the growing number of Woodland cemeteries getting established around Britain.
